Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has stated that the players deserve full credit for the victory against Everton, per the BBC.
The Red Devils cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over their Merseyside opponents courtesy of goals from Wayne Rooney, Ander Herrera and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Wayne Rooney scored his second Premier League goal of the season against Everton.
The win keeps the club within two points of league leaders and bitter rivals Manchester City as well as marking an immediate bounce-back from their recent defeat at the hands of Arsenal.

Speaking after the match Van Gaal stated: “How Everton is playing we analyse and then you choose the best solution, but all the credit goes to the players.
“You need also a little bit of luck and the goals were fantastic but they were at good moments.”
For Everton, the game marks only their second defeat and ends a five-game unbeaten run for the Toffees, who will be hoping to recover immediately when they face Arsenal in their next match.
United top Squawka's possession stats this season.

The game was also special occasion for Rooney, whose strike was not only his first goal at Goodison Park since 2007 but also saw him draw level with Andy Cole in the Premier League goalscoring lists, with Alan Shearer now the only person ahead of him.
Van Gaal will be hoping that his side can keep their winning run of form going in their next fixture away against CSKA Moscow.
Manchester United have created 73 chances this term.
