Arsenal have created 125 chances in the Premier League this season, Ozil has created 31 of those.
Mesut Ozil showed how crucial he is to Arsenal’s side with his stellar performance against Watford today, recording two assists taking his season’s tally to a Premier League best six.
The German international played a key part in two of the Gunners goals as they romped to an eventual 3-0 win over the Hornets.
All the goals in the game came within a fifteen minute period in the second-half as Arsene Wenger’s team really started to find their rhythm.
Ozil created six chances in the game, the most of any Arsenal player, as well as providing the assist for not only Alexis Sanchez’s goal but also for Olivier Giroud’s. The two assists mean that he now has six for the season, the most of any Premier League player.
He was a constant thorn in the side of the Hornets who seemed unable to handle the diminutive German.

The win keeps the Gunners within two points of leaders Manchester City and provides them with a much-needed confidence boost ahead of their pivotal must-win Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
Anything less than a win against the German champions will see the club’s hopes of qualifying for the next stage of the European competition in tatters having lost both of their opening games in the group stages so far.
56.7% of Mesut Ozil’s passes against Watford were forward.
