The 23-year-old spent last term on loan at Serie A side Fiorentina and wants to leave the Blues on a permanent deal this summer after finding chances extremely limited while at the Premier League champions.
Salah is close to joining Fiorentina rivals AS Roma after being spotted training with Rudi Garcia’s men in recent weeks.
The Egypt international also made a hint over his future last night be tweeting: “Done ????????????” As the winger changed his Twitter bio to ‘Footballer for AS Ro.. & Egypt’.
However, Blues gaffer Mourinho claims he has been left in the lurch over the Salah transfer, who joined Chelsea from Basel in January 2014 for £11million.
In a recent interview, Mourinho said: “I have no idea [about his future].
“I just know that Salah left Chelsea a few months ago to play on loan with Fiorentina.
“I was happy because he was playing every game and that’s the objective of a loan.” he added.
