Real Madrid want Angel di Maria swap with Gareth Bale going to Man Utd

Real Madrid reportedly want their former star Angel di Maria to return to the club in place of Gareth Bale, who Manchester United are keen to land.
Real boss Carlo Ancelotti was again frustrated by Bale’s performance against Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday night after he failed to carry out instructions.
Marca says the former Chelsea coach wanted Bale to play wide in midfield in a 4-4-2 formation after coming on for James Rodriguez but the 25-year-old ended up playing next to Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in what was effectively a 4-3-3 formation.
Ancelotti’s annoyance with Bale has him desiring the return of Di Maria, who was able to carry out his defensive duties.
The Argentine was sold for £60m to United after a row over his wage demands not being met.
The report says Real will not stand in United’s way if they make a serious bid for Bale, though they are likely to use the negotiations to ask for a player-plus-cash deal involving Di Maria.
